Overhead Bare Conductor Wire AAC 35sqmm 7/2.59mm power transmission lines BS 215 BS EN-50182
APPLICATION:
Bare Aluminum conductors are used for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in overhead lines.
The most used metals for its manufacture are Aluminum 1350-H19, Aluminum alloy 6201-T81 and Aluminum reinforced with steel coated with Zinc or Aluminum.
STANDARD
ASTM B 231, BS EN-50182, CSA C 61089, AS/NZS 1531, DIN 48201, IEC 61089, GB/T 1179, JIS 3109
CONSTRUCTION
Aluminum 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded.
AAC conductors have good mechanical properties and electrical conductivity, and are mainly used in power transmission lines, such as transmitting power from remote hydropower stations, thermal power plants or nuclear power plants to substations in the suburbs of cities.
